    Description

"AGAINST ALL ODDS--SHOT DOWN OVER OCCUPIED TERRITORY IN WWII" is the incredible story of a WWII B-24 crew. They were the "Rosacker" crew of the 93rd Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force based in Hardwich, England. They flew 24 missions together during the closing months of WWII. Their last mission was on 28 January 1945. Their target was in Germany's Ruhr Valley ("Flak Valley"). They were shot down over Holland and became POWs of the Germans, but all ten of the crew survived! Fifty years later, nine of the ten crew members wrote this book. They are: Fred Worthen, Joe Rosacker, Tyrus Gibbs, Charles Conley, Charles Philage, John Pace, Otis Hair, Bennie Hayes and Glenn Tessmer. Their story is MESMERIZING!!!
Book is softback published in 1996. It is in NEAR MINT CONDITION, measures 5 3/8" x 8 3/8", and contains 201 pages with 8 pages of photographs and maps.
