Thornton who was from Detroit, Michigan and a member of the 92nd Bomb Group as a B-17 radio operator stationed at Podington Air Base, England during WWII. This is his memoir which includes notes on most of his B-17 bombing missions to include Dresden, Aschaffenburg, Cologne, Koblenz, Ludwigshafen, Berlin, and Dortmund. He and his B-17 survived WWII! Totally mesmerizing!
    Book is softback published in 2007. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and contains 230 pages with a few photographs throughout.
