Kemp, a B-24 pilot with the USAAF's 865th Bomb Squadron of the 494th Bomb Group (under 7th Air Force) who flew several missions in the Pacific. He passed away in 1990. His son found a treasure-trove of his wartime uniforms, letters, documents, awards, momemtos and MUCH MORE! Based on these, he wrote this book which contains TONS of his father's items and documents--mission reports, pilot certificates, certifications, log books, audio transcripts, misssion instructions, photographs, and much more!
