    Description

    "THE BREAKTHROUGH BATTALION: BATTLES OF COMPANY C OF THE 133rd INFANTRY REGIMENT--TUNISIA AND ITALY, 1943-1945" is the personal memoir of then U.S. Army lieutenent (now retired colonel) Richard Wilkerson. Here are desriptions of his missions as a company commander in both Tunisia and Italy. He commanded Company C, 133rd Infantry Regiment of the 34th "Red Bull" Infantry Division.  He is from Toano, Virginia and retired in 1971.
