    "BUNKER'S WAR--THE WORLD WAR II DIARY OF COL. PAUL D. BUNKER" is the SPELLBINDING diary of Col Bunker who was commander of the 59th Coast Artillery on Corregidor. He was a West Point graduate (1903) and taken as a POW by the Japanese in May 1942. His diary starts in January 1942 and ends on March 1, 1943 right after which he died from Beri Beri in prison on the island of Formosa on March 16, 1943. He was 63 years old. His diary is very haunting and very detailed. A book you won't be able to put down!
