    Description

"ALL MY LOVE, GEORGE...LETTERS FROM A WWII HERO" is a very unusual book! It is all about the author's uncle--her Dad's older brother George E. Burks who served in the U.S. Army from 1942 until he was killed in action in March 1945. He was a Technician 3rd Grade (E-5) serving as a Medic with the 43rd Division of the 103rd Infantry whose nickname was "Winged Victory". Here are some of his letters home to his Dad along with memories from his brother, the author's Dad. This is a very touching book. George had been awarded the Silver Star, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart.
Book is softback published in 2014. It is in NEAR MINT CONDITION, is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and contains 183 pages.
