    "THE ATLANTIC TURKEY SHOOT--U-BOATS OFF THE OUTER BANKS IN WORLD WAR II" is a little-known account of several German U-Boats off the North Carolina Outer Banks which sunk several of our ships. U-123 sank 9 ships, U-124, U-552, U-85, U-352, U-505 and others are here. Between January 1942 and April 1942, some 200 ships totaling 1,150,675 tons were destroyed by Nazi U-Boats on the Eastern Seaboard. U-Boat 124 with commander Jochen Mohr wrote his superios that he had sunk 9 ships off the North Carolina coast. TONS of little-known history is here to include a complete list of all ships, by name, lost off North Carolina between January and June 1942. This is an EYEOPENER!
