This is an amazing auction for an original WWII 4th Armored Division - Pine Camp 1942 Historical and Pictorial Review book.
Published 1942 by the Army and Navy Publishing Co., Inc.
The book belonged to P.F.C Steven F. Mertzacker of Company B, 24
th
Armored Engineers.
His picture appears on page 110.
He was born on 1-06-1908, died 9-28-1962, and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the back of the book is a page signed by many soldiers along with their rank and addresses.
The book is in really good condition.
I see a little water damage on a few pages (you can see it on the page with all the signatures).
Some of the pages have bent corners.
The cover is clean.
I don’t see any rip or torn pages.
The binding is in good shape.
