FOUND AT A LOCAL ESTATE: This estate was the home of a man whose career was the Navy. He reached a high rank and enjoyed cruising on ships in his retirement years. Amongst his effects were papers, books, pamphlets, awards and letters. In the paperwork was this dark blue booklet (9" x 7") with the topic : NATO SHIELD of FREEDOM. The booklet was published by the American Council on Nato, Inc New York. Its primary objective is to explain with text and photographs, Natos military alliance. Its great purpose is peace, not war.
