Highlights:
#797 U.S. Army In Action; 1942 Whitman Publishing; Softcover (stiff heavier stock paper throughout entire book); Painted wraparound cover with with beautiful painted illustrations throughout plus some black and white illustrations; 24 pages. Exterior of softcover book has typical age-related wear - primarily light scuffs on a couple of the corners. Interior looks great and is clean. An excellent reading and reference copy for a 76 year-old book!
Note-You may notice that on certain books, I try to take photographs with and without the camera flash to try and capture the gloss if the book has a glossy surface.  That is the reason that certain images will have a difference of appearance and may show a light spot from the camera flash-Which is NOT a loss of color on the book itself.

Payment
If you are paying with Paypal (Visa-Mastercard) for a single listing, please pay for the auction right after the auction closes or after you have received your invoice if shipping is unclear (international or multiple purchases).  If you have multiple purchases, I offer a shipping discount and will combine all purchases for discounted shipping, so please wait for a combined invoice before paying each one separately to receive the savings.
Payment is preferred within 24 hours, but must be paid within 3 days (so only bid if you plan to pay right away!!).  Even if you plan to bid on other auction listings that end on DIFFERENT days, please pay each day (for multiple auctions won, please wait for combined invoice prior to paying) for all auctions won that day and send me an email letting me know your intent (keep in mind that I ship out every day so the sooner you let me know, the better!) so that I can withhold shipping until other auctions close (within a week or so).  I always combine shipping with additional auctions won costing only each.

Shipping
Shipping Rates/Policies (USA and Canada-Please READ!!)
Combined Shipping:
I can/will combine shipping when possible.  For ALL buyers, once the original cost of shipping is made, there will be an extra charge (.50 for Canada) for each additional listing won to help offset the cost of packaging, e-Bay's policy change to charge seller's for full cost of purchase including shipping fee's, and the increasing post office fees (Last increase was Feb 2018).
If you would like to take advantage of the combined shipping discounts,
please wait for a combined invoice before payment (manually sent, so please be patient) if you would like to take advantage of the savings.
Please do not make full price payment and request a shipping discount afterwards because eBay does not automatically credit ANY refunds.
Note-once an item is paid for, I have to ship within 24 hours to maintain my status, so please notify me in advance of payment that you plan on purchasing items for auctions ending on a different day and we can make arrangements for you to withhold payment to delay the shipping (please, no more than 4-5 days).

There are 3 options for shipping:
U.S. Postal Service 1st Class Mail or U.S. Media Mail
(within a bubbled envelope and protected on both sides with heavy cardboard)
These are the standard shipping methods that I use and I charge a flat rate of for shipping (up to 5 comics in the same listing to fit in an envelope).  If there are several lots won, see above.  Extra listings won add additional per listing.
Note-For those customers that would like item shipped in a BOX:
I am more than happy to ship in a sturdy box, however, there is an added cost to me for the box and the weight will increase increasing the cost of shipping.  To ship in a box via media mail would cost .50.  Please send me an email letting me know that you would like it shipped in a box and wait for me to reinvoice you for the proper amount.  If you pay prior, then I will have to send you an additional bill via PayPal.
U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail
(in larger box)-
For expedited shipping or for comics that sell over 0, I use U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail shipping in a medium/large box with a cost of .00 for the first auction won.  Additional auctions won will add each to the cost of shipping.
Shipping:  Canada
For Canadian customers, if you have MORE than 10 positive feedbacks-I can ship via USPS 1st Class International rather than the more expensive Priority Mail International.  Please wait for me to reinvoice you for the lower shipping amount prior to payment.  If you have less than 10 positive feedbacks, item must be shipped via US Priority Mail as that is trackable and covered under eBay's seller protection.  Also, if you prefer to have item shipped via Priority Mail International in a box for protection, feel free to pay off original invoice sent after auction is completed.
Due to the recent price increases for shipping to Canada February 2018 with the cost nearly doubling in addition to eBay charging sellers full commission on seller shipping fees, I have to increase my prices.  Canadian buyers base fee is .50 and .50 each additional listing won (up to 4 additional listings).
Shipping:  International

To bid on one of my listings, you must have a minimum of 10 positive feedbacks, otherwise, please do not bid.
The United States Postal Service changed rates and methods of International shipping in late January of 2013. To protect both buyer and seller and guarantee delivery, I will ship all comics out of the country via USPS Priority Mail International bubble flat rate envelope protected on both sides with heavy cardboard with tracking. This is based on eBay calculated shipping and the price is based on weight of the package and country of destination and will vary but will generally be around .20 (.95 + .25 to cover the commission fees eBay will charge us sellers for the shipping fees).  These bubbled envelopes from the US Post Office are tight and only 1-2 standard sized (gold/silver/bronze age) comics will fit with the cardboard for reinforcement.  Unfortunately, these are NOT large enough for "multiple comic lots" (3 or more comics) or Oversized Golden Age or Treasury Edition Comics, so those will need to be shipped in a Priority Mail box at a higher cost).  If multiple lots are won, I would either have to ship them in a box or a second envelope whichever is cheapest for the buyer.
Note-if you are an international bidder with a sizable number of positive feedbacks with 0 negative feedbacks, feel free to contact me as I may (at my discretion) decide to allow the shipment be made using US 1st Class Mail International at a reduced cost to the bidder/buyer. The destination country and any amount of negative feedback through eBay would have an impact on my decision. Cost would be based on weight of the ship meant (calculated cost through eBay) plus additional .25+ (roughly 13% of cost of shipping) to cover the cost that eBay charges sellers fees and commissions on shipping as well.
I will provide customs accurate cost information for international shipments in addition to tracking to the buyer.
I will not GUARANTEE or be responsible in any way for deliveries outside the United States.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS REMEMBER - SHIPPING CAN TAKE A WHILE.

RETURN POLICY
