For sale for the discerning buyer is a luxurious, handcrafted Maitland-Smith ice/champagne bucket with four bronze claw feet and goose-neck handles. The handpainted scene is the same on both sides of the ice bucket and shows an idyllic, outdoor lake and mountain scene. A unique "woman in the mountain" can be seen in the middle of the scene. The same handpainted scene is on the lid.
This ice/champagne bucket is new and has never been used. I bought it a couple years back thinking I would host extravagant parties and well, that never happened! And now the ice/champagne bucket doesn't match my home's new aesthetic. I paid nearly 00 for it at full retail price.
CONDITION:
STUNNING! The ice/champagne bucket is in mint condition with absolutely no dents, dings, wear or repairs. The paint is clean, crisp and 100% throughout the ice/champagne bucket, too. The claw feet, goose-neck handles and the lid's handle, all of which I believe are bronze, are beautiful with wear or patina showing.The screws holding the handles in place are firm and tight. MEASUREMENTS / WEIGHT:
The ice/champagne bucket measures approximately 10 1/2" tall with the lid on and 8 3/8" tall without the lid. It is 7" across at the rim and 9 1/2" across from handle to handle. The base is 7" across from claw foot to claw foot. The ice/champagne bucket weighs 3 lbs, 13 oz.
MARKINGS:
The Maitland-Smith brand sticker is on the base. There's also a return label and UPC code on the base that I never removed.
SHIPPING/INSURANCE:
Buyer is responsible for USPS Priority Mail shipping cost. Because this is a high-value item, I will double box the package to ensure full protection, beyond the bubble wrap and void fillers I use in all of my packages. Because of this, I will have to use an irregular sized box, which will result in higher-than-normal shipping costs.
