Czech seed beads in the shape of a short cut cylinder are called 3cut Beads. They are made by cutting glass tubes with a round hole and a hexagonal surface. After this process, the 3cut Beads are cut again on special cutting wheels while strung on a wire which results in the reduction of the edges at the ends of the seed beads and the cutting of several randomly placed facets. Each 3cut Bead has a unique shape.
High quality Czech 9/0 3cut glass seed beads.  9/0 3cut Czech glass seed beads have larger holes thus making them easier to use in beadwork. The facets on 9/0 3cut Czech seed beads are soft giving them a delicate, sparkling appearance.
Three Cut Seed beads are similar to Charlotte or True Cut Seed Beads but have more facets.  These facets add an enchanting sparkle to your seed bead designs.  The facets of cut seed beads can leave the edges rather sharp. Be sure to use a durable beading thread such as Fireline, NYMO, SUPERLON or  WildFire!  9/0 3-cut Seed Beads measure approximately 2.6 mm. Approximate pack specifications: 2 ounces: hank or hank equivalent of 10x15" strands, 3000 beads.
Use with thread sizes D and size 10, 11 or size 12 English beading needles.
