Czech seed beads in the shape of a short roller are called 2cuts beads. They are produced using a similar technology to other seed beads, i.e. the cutting of glass rods with a round hole and a hexagonal surface. After cutting, the 2cuts beads are fine tumbled and heat polished in order to rid them of any sharp edges.
