    Description

NEW FROM DIRE WOLF BOOKS 366 PAGES, ILLUSTRATED WITH PHOTOS, MAPS, DRAWINGS.
This is the combat history of the 119th Infantry Regiment written by the men of the regiment. It has been edited and annotated for a modern reading audience. Care has been exercised throughout the editing process to insure the spirit and meaning of the author(s) is retained. Many photographs in the original manuscript were too indistinct to be used. Quality photographs, maps, and drawings depicting soldiers of the 119th Infantry as well as selected photographs depicting other 30th Infantry Division soldiers have been added and so described in the narrative.
    The Dire Wolf book titled
"Move Out; the 743rd Tank Battalion in World War II"
is also about a unit of the 30th Infantry Division that fought alongside the 119th Infantry Regiment and adds another view of the military service of these men. This book is often available on Ebay too. These are real soldiers in real combat making real history. Published 2021 and signed by the editor, Master Sergeant Walt Cross, U.S. Army Retired.
