"The Story Of The Sixth General Hospital" World War Two unit history book. Hardcover, 128 pages, 12.25" x 9" size, printed in Buffalo, NY circa 1945. Includes a detailed history of this general hospital in Africa and Italy during World War Two, photos, maps, drawings, individual personnel photos with names and complete unit roster of Officers, Nurses and Enlisted Men with home addresses. In overall very good condition. There is a 1" long stain that appears at the top of pages 2-3 at the inside of the spine and goes through pages 29-30. The stain is smaller on the higher numbered pages (see photos). The former G.I. owner made some small notation marks on page 71 and a few on the roster pages. There are also a few age and wear marks on the roster pages.
