Please view the SCANS for a sample of the content of this manual! The PV-2 was built to replace the PV-1 and fix some of its flying characteristics. Used only in the Pacific theater, the PV-2 flew countless missions against the Japanese and served into the post war era as a patrol aircraft. This manual has EVERYTHING a person would need to know to repair a damaged PV-2 including the wing and tail plus fabric and welding and metalwork! If a PV-2 was shot up or crashed, this manual would be your guide to repairing the damage and getting it flying again! This manual is loaded with diagrams and photos on almost all page showing you step by step what to do!! A VERY important aircraft of WWII and was kept in US NAVY inventory post war.
